A very nice original pair of the earlier Porro II variation of 7x50 binoculars which were produced by. Under the'beh' code, for use by Kriegsmarine U-boat crewmen. Other markings found on the left prism plate indicate coated lenses ('T') and also the'28834 N' code - with the suffix indicating issue for use by forces operating in the. This particular set also come complete with the original Bakelite rain guard, which is so often missing, as well as the leather neck strap.

Aside from a small chip to the right ocular lens, the optics remain clear and focus smoothly to produce a super sharp and bright image. As such, they would be more than suitable for display purposes or for continued use!
