WW2 German KriegsmarineOriginal KM-2 SOLD Sextant/Octant withCaseC. Plath
Plath sextant, this is a special Kriegsmarine sextant with an artificial bubble horizon. Technically not a sextant but an octant and the name is formally'level octant' in German. A similar version was used in aircraft by the Luftwaffe, this KM-2 Kriegsmarine version is much rarer. The navy version was probably used on fast boats and submarines (U-boats).
