WW2 German Kriegsmarine KM SELZA Military Watch Cal. Selza 06 Mechanical Vintage

Authentic WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy) Mechanical Wristwatch by SELZA (Biel, Switzerland) - 1940s. Due to the smaller size of the naval forces compared to the Heer (Army), watches with the K. Designation were produced in significantly fewer numbers, making them much rarer and highly sought after by militaria and vintage watch enthusiasts today. Dial: Original light cream/champagne dial featuring the mandatory Kriegsmarine layout for maximum visibility at sea. Beautiful, honest age patina on Arabic numerals and lancet hands.

Sub-second register at 6 o'clock. Movement: Rare and authentic Swiss-made in-house Selza Caliber 06 manual wind movement (17 Jewels). Beautifully finished with elegant Côtes de Genève (Geneva stripes) decoration on the bridges. The bridge is explicitly stamped with the factory mark "SELZA BIEL". Features a Breguet hairspring and a shock protection system.

The movement sits securely within its original internal metal spacer ring. Case Back: Stainless steel, screw-down military case back. Fully stamped with authentic German military markings.

STAHL BODEN (Stainless steel back). SHOCK RESIST (Shock protection system). Military issued serial number: 501700. Case Dimensions: Vintage military spec size - about 30 mm (excluding the crown).

Band: Comes fitted vintage stainless steel expandable stretch/flex bracelet (Fixoflex style) that matches the military aesthetic perfectly. Cosmetic Condition: Pre-owned / Vintage Military. The watch is in honest, untouched condition. The chrome-plated mid-case shows natural signs of wear, chrome loss on the lugs, and a rich historical patina that underscores its genuine wartime service.

The stainless steel case back and the movement are in exceptionally clean, pristine condition, free of rust or corrosion. All stamped text and serial numbers remain crisp and perfectly legible.
