WW2 German Kriegsmarine Kieninger & Obergfell U-BOAT & SHIP CLOCK VERY NICE

These clocks were issued aboard Kriegsmarine surface vessels and U-boats during World War II, where precise timekeeping was essential for navigation, gunnery coordination, and convoy operations. Typically mounted in the radio room, wardroom, or bridge, the 8-day movement allowed extended accuracy between windings while enduring the harsh conditions of sea service. Each clock was individually calibrated and tested before deployment. It is a EXCELLENT example and retains much of the original brass finish! A couple of dents and marks (normal due to the age), however it is still VERY SOLID!

Both the serial number and all markings are intact, including the full KM Adler. Some wear to the nickel finish, but nothing that detracts. 100% FUNCTIONAL, this type of clock is shown on page 182/183 of Konrad Knirim's Military Timepieces Book. Comes complete with the original winding key. I have shown this exact clock in use on the Prinz Eugen in the last photo.

An EXTREMELY RARE piece of history, it would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
