This specific binocular was used by U-Boat crews, ships, and coastal artillery. Made of aluminum, brass, and steel by Leitz, these 7 x 50 power binoculars are in VERY NICE used condition!
The lens bodies retain about 98% of their original, rough textured, black finish, and the aluminum end piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustment still functions perfectly on both eye pieces, however the optics will need a clean, as they are a bit foggy. Left side is body marked 7 x 50, the 3-digit code of "beh" (indicating being manufactured by Leitz). The rubber armour that is noramlly on these, is not present, but replacements (or reproductions) can be found easily online.
Comes complete in the original leather case, that features a prominent KM Adler, as well as marker codes. The strap appears to be postwar.
A VERY NICE example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc. , as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. Use is solely based on my authorization only.
