RARE GERMAN NAVY KRIEGSMARINE BEOBACHTUNGSUHR B-UHR DECK POCKET WATCH FROM WORLD WAR 2. This is a fine example of a rare and historical B-Uhr deck watch from the 1940s in excellent condition for its age. These watches were famously used by officers of the German Navy (Kriegsmarine) during World War 2. The white porcelain dial and movement are both marked "Civitas". Please note the crack is in the glass, not the dial.

The dial is in good condition. The back of the watch is marked with an eagle and "M 5489 II KL" (please ask for photo). T he watch runs strongly and keeps good time but shows some age and wear as you'd expect from an old military watch. Size: The case measures 49mm in diameter without the crown.
