Authentic WWII era gunner ring. Large solid silver weight 8,3gr! The lion is a typical motif of the WW2 German navy. Material is solid silver (stamp 800), height 16mm (lion head).
Ring size is 12.5 (US) (inner diameter approx 22mm). Stamps inside: The abbreviation KM 1943 means Kriegsmarine 1943 (ww2 German Navy) Dated 1943. The abbreviation Flak means Anti-aircraft, MG81 means Maschinengewehr 81 (ww2 german machine gun). The MG 81 is a German belt fed 7.92x57mm Mauser machine gun which was used in flexible installations in World War II Luftwaffe aircraft, in which capacity it replaced the older drum magazine-fed MG 15. 1940's jewelry box is not for sale!
