Authentic World War II ring. Large solid silver weight 5,7gr! Anchor is a typical motif of the WW2 German Navy. Material is real solid silver (stamp 800), height 16mm. Ring size is 13 (US) (inner diameter approx 22.5 mm).

Dated 1942/1944 years of service. The wolfpack (u-boat convoy) was a convoy attack tactic employed in the Second World War. It was used principally by the U-boats of the Kriegsmarine during the Battle of the Atlantic. The idea of a co-ordinated submarine attack on convoys had been proposed during the First World War but had no success.
