Original WW2 1942 German Army Navy Kriegsmarine U-boat Officer Berlin Lion Ring

Large big heavy ring: height 24 mm. Lion is a typical motif for the WW2 German Navy. Size is 11,5 (US) (inner diameter approx 21.1mm). The ring material is solid yellow metal (brass or bronze).

Stamps inside: KM = Kriegsmarine (WWII German Navy). U-9 = U-BOOT 9 (u-boat#9). Berlin = military operation or place. Dated 1942 Brass and bronze were often used for the pommels and guards of World War 2 German Navy daggers, insignia, awards and rings. Highly detailed antique military ring!
