THIS LISTING PROMOTES ZERO IDEOLOGY and is being offered as a piece of history. Please see the item as it is - a wartime relic. Up for sale is this Junghans Kriegsmarine torpedo timer. This watch has the Junghans 29a movement.
30 second fast runner and has the half and full minute sub dial at the 12 position. The dial a has a few hairlines and unfortunate chips. This is the real deal, not a forgery of fake so often seen on the market.
This case style without a bow must have existed for some sort of purpose possibly being held in a fixture or mounted housing. I have been unable to determine the specific use. Another example of this watch can be seen in Konrad Knirims book of German military watches on page 251. Unfortunately I could not open the rear case back so I have no photo of the movement. The movement style can be viewed in the example in Knirims book mentioned above. A short video of running can be viewed here. I will reimburse the difference to you. Please reach out with any questions you may have.I will answer them as best as I can.
