From my research, I believe these are of mid-war production. Their condition is commensurate with age and wartime use. Most of the original yellow-green factory paint is intact with some signs of wear. This set also retains much of the original rubber armor, but is missing the eyepiece rain cover and strap (reproductions are available). The fixed-focus optics are clear when viewing through the binoculars.

However, the colored lens coating on all lenses has seen some action and is not perfect, but again, this does not affect the visibility (see photos of view through the binoculars).
