This piece is beyond rare. This was either taken by an American asset or spy during the war, or was not destroyed by the Germans before the Americans overtook a major command post (which rarely happened).
This 100% original Landing Craft Blueprint is in excellent survivor condition. Nothing like this has ever been offered for sale, or at least there's no record of it. Finding a blueprint is unprecedented, and we are very pleased to offer this unique piece of WWII history. As far as I know, many of the photos and blueprints in this collection are unique, and the photos are all guaranteed type 1 original / not reprints.The blueprints in some lots are also going to likely be the most accurate representation available for many of these ships - which should be of particular importance for model builders, historians, etc. Please check out our other listings for more from the same collection - this truly is a lot worthy of display in a museum, or in an advanced private collection.
