An authentic, standard-issue sugar bowl from the galley of a German submarine dating from World War II. This item comes from a Kriegsmarine submarine and is 100% authentic.

This item belonged to a Soviet sailor and was acquired as a trophy during the salvage of the German submarine U-24. U-24 took an active part in combat operations off the coast of Norway (Operation "Weserübung") and in the Black Sea between 1942 and 1944.

On August 25, 1944, the submarine was scuttled by its own crew in the Black Sea to prevent its capture by Soviet forces.
