WW2 German 8mm News Reel Degeto Weltspiegel 1942 reel Kriegsmarine battle ship

February 1942 Degeto German reel # 29. This film is from February 1942 and has a printing error, the date says 1941 on the spine of the gold sleeve.

The film is damaged starting approx at the 10' mark, there are portions of the film that have broken off and are damaged; the film holds together but would break if it was played. First few inches of spool show wear and light warping from use.

Original cardboard paper red and gold sleeves, showing wear, use, discoloration and light damage. The film is suitable for display or repair only. The film shows German battleships break through the canal, fleet departing from the port of Brest Luftwaffe naval support and battleships Gneisenau, Scharnhorst and Prince Eugene.
