WWII GERMAN KRIEGSMARINE OFFICER'S BROCADE BELT withHANGERS

This an extremely fine and completely original World War II German Kriegsmarine officers belt, buckle, and dagger hangers that remain in excellent condition. The belt is two inches wide and constructed of silver brocade. The rear is faced with fine Navy-Blue wool.

The length of the belt from the catch to the buckle hook is now 36 inches. The belt hook on the buckle is marked 90 for ninety centimeters. There are 8 grommeted adjustment holes at the rear on the buckle end that could let the belt out another three inches to almost 40 inches in length. The buckle is beautifully detailed with a fine fire gilt finish and burnished highlights. Suspended from the belt is a set of original dagger hangers.

These feature the golden lion head buckles and gilt hook and chain. Both dagger clips are functional although lower loop on the shorter strap has sprung open from the solder. It is still secure and strong and not in danger of further damage. This remains an exquisite Kriegsmarine officers belt rig in overall excellent condition.
